PROJECT TITLE: Enhancing Community Participation in Reproductive and Child Health Services in Yirol West County
JOB LOCATION: Sud Sudan, Yirol Hospital and County

DURATION: 12 months
REQUIREMENTS
- Citizenship of a State of the European Union (requirement essential for administrative issues)- University Degree in Medicine and Surgery with further specialisation or Master in Public Health and Hygiene- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English- Previous experience in Developing Countries- Previous experience in managing health cooperation projects will be an asset
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Improve PH services in Yirol County, fostering community participation to health services and enhancing Yirol hospital role as referral centre for peripheral units
KEY DUTIES
The Project Manager will be responsible of overall project activities and human, material and financial resources management.As Public Health expert, the main tasks will be the following:• organize and supervise the ANC and EPI mobile clinics plan• contribute to creation of Village Health Committees and carry out capacity building activities to make them effective in supplying basic health services• supervise ANC and EPI plus services provided by hospital• collaborate to initiatives aiming at encourage maternity utilization• collaborate to the organization of training programme for hospital PH department staff and peripheral units personnel• organize a refresher course on antenatal care programme• map health units of Yirol County in terms of services provided and staff• support health authorities in data collection and analysis
