Prone to natural disasters, Plan Philippines is currently a full scale emergency response country programme intending to spend up to 75 million USD. There are over 40,000 sponsored children and a large grants portfolio from bilateral and multilateral donors including ADB, EU, OFDA, DFID, UN, etc.

We are looking for a Deputy CD-Operations to lead, manage and develop a high performing team of functional experts covering the areas of Supply Chain Management, HR, Finance, Risk Management, Administration, , IT, and Security.

This position is immediately available.

The Deputy CD-OP is a member of the Core Country Management Team and is expected to contribute to Plan’s understanding and strategic direction in the country. He or she deputises for the Country Director, as required and if needed, in relation to external stakeholders. The Deputy CD-OP line manages eight functional heads. You will be responsibelt for managing all risks associated with programme delivery including logistics, supply chain management, security, donor requirements, budget, people management and legal compliance. Providing operational support to Programme Units (PU) you will have the ability to work in a highly charged environment. You will also oversee the preparation and consolidation of reports for submission to the Regional Office and/or International Headquarters. The Deputy CD-OPs will have responsibility for managing a budget of approximately 5.5M USD per annum.

You will be a development professional with demonstrable experience as Head of Operations/Administration/Finance. Preferably educated to Masters level or equivalent in a related area, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage complex operations.
