Papua New Guinea: Sexual and Reproductive Health Project Manager
The Sexual and Reproductive Health Project Manager will oversee the KTA Youth Project. The project has staff undertaking an established youth peer educator program to strengthen behaviour change and build demand for services and which will in 2013 incorporate new activities among more at risk youth in urban and peri urban locations. The role will also oversee staff focusing on a recently developed health service strengthening component that involves supporting the Autonomous Bougainville Government health department to model and improve sexual and reproductive health related service delivery in KTA Youth Project sites. This will involve a mixture of direct facility support and mentoring and working with regional authorities on broader health services systems and processes. The SRH Project Manager will have four direct reports and will have direct program oversight of a KTA Youth Project field office in Arawa. The SRH Project Manager will have responsibility for ensuring CIPNG country strategies and key program directions in Women’s Empowerment, and working with government and other partners is incorporated and implemented within the KTA Youth Project.
