Première Urgence – Aide Médicale Internationale is a French Non Governmental Organization, non-profit, apolitical and non-religious. Its entire staff is mobilised daily to cover the basic needs of civilian victims endangered, marginalized or excluded by the effects of natural disasters, wars and situations of economic collapse. PU-AMI is based in 21 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Caucasus and the Caribbean, and operates in the areas of food security, health, nutrition, rehabilitation of infrastructure, water and sanitation and economic recovery. PU-AMI results of the merger of two NGO, Première Urgence and Aide Médicale Internationale, thus combining experienced teams, with strong complementary technical expertise in the humanitarian field.Their common goal is to provide a comprehensive response to population’s in emergency situations and support their return to independence following a crisis.
As part of our activities in Syria, we are looking for a Distribution Program Manager.
The Distribution Program Manager will plan and supervise distributions in Syria of NFI, WASH and Shelter kits.
Programs: He/She will ensure implementation and oversight of distribution activities under his/her responsibility.Human Resources: He/She will supervise the distribution team (PU-AMI employees and any day laborers).Logistics and Administration: He/She will oversee the logistic and administrative duties of the project(s) under his/her responsibility.Representation: He/She will represent the association to local partners, authorities and players involved in implementation of distribution activities.Safety and Security: He/She will assist in following safety and security rules on-base and will transmit all safety and security information to his/her supervisor.Strategy: He/She will assist in developing new operations as needed.
