GRM Project Manager – Indonesia
GRM International’s APAC Business Unit is seeking applications for a Project Manager - within GRM referred to as the Program Operations Manager (level III).
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will ensure cost effective, timely and specification compliant project delivery by providing scheduling, operational, financial and compliance support.
They will be the principal contact between AusAID, the program, GRM and all GRM operations supports teams including (i) HR, (ii) recruitment, (iii) security, (iv) finance (GRM commercial management group and project accounting group liaison), (v) internal audit and risk, (vi) contracting and compliance, (vii) IT, (viii) technical support from GRM’s Growth and Livelihoods Practice and (ix) quality and performance management, knowledge management and learning from GRM’s in-house specialists in the Growth and Livelihoods Practice and the Effective Development Group. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing inputs and support from these support services within GRM.
This position will initially be based in Jakarta.
Selection Criteria:
Relevant bachelor’s degree; master’s degree (preferred).
Total minimum of 7 years relevant work experience.
Minimum 3 years managing AusAID projects, or projects of another bilateral donor, including managing long and short term consultants, project start-up & closeout, achieving milestones and interpreting project plans.
Minimum 2 years of people management experience, including setting clear performance objectives, managing for results, giving and receiving feedback, performance evaluation and mentoring and coaching consultants/employees.
At least 2 years of experience in a developing country or similar environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesian (preferred).
Knowledge of Indonesian public sector and experience working with government agencies (preferred).
Experience working on Rural Development or Agricultural projects or initiatives (preferred).
Ability to mobilise and relocate to Indonesia quickly.
