Chemonics seeks a project management associate to join our East Asia regional business unit. The associate will provide day-to-day support to project teams and contribute to proposal development for USAID-funded activities. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor budget performance and support overall project administration
- Establish and maintain files
- Communicate and assist with field office requests
- Recruit and field consultant
- Liaise with home office support departments on contract-related procurements, accounting, personnel, publications, and travel
- Serve on proposal teams and support overall new business effortsJob Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in international development or relevant technical field, or bachelor's degree with relevant work experience required; Master's degree a plus
- Minimum one year of contract management and/or project management experience required
- Strong administrative skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to travel and work overseas a minimum four to six weeks per year
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Experience in East Asia a plus
- Proficiency in relevant foreign language preferred
