Scope of Work:

The project administrative officer will be responsible for supporting Integrity’s regional hub in Lebanon, and more broadly on-going project development and implementation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by contributing to office administration and management, project design and delivery, translation and personnel recruitment.

Terms of Reference:

The project administrative officer will:

  1. Manage administration of the Beirut office including booking flights, tracking staff and consultant movements, supporting the arrival and settling in of international consultants, organising and purchasing supplies or other items for the office or projects, supporting the Country Director as required.
  2. Support the development of new Integrity proposals and project work in the MENA region as requested, including supporting proposal / report writing, research, recruitment, consultant identification and acting as primary contact for consultants where requested.
  3. Liaise with the Lebanon and broader Integrity team to provide region-wide contextual, security and logistical information.
  4. Support the Country Director to expand Integrity’s contact base in the MENA-region
  5. On-line monitoring of Arabic and English news relevant to Integrity’s work in the region.
  6. Translation of relevant documents / texts for the Integrity team (between English and Arabic and/or French)

Qualifications: Education and Experience

  1. Graduate of an accredited university.
  2. 2 year’s experience in administration, project development and / or implementation in the MENA region.

Competencies

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  2. Excellent knowledge of Lebanon, and good knowledge of and experience in the wider MENA region.
  3. Flexible approach so a variety of tasks can be undertaken from basic level administration to considered inputs into Integrity projects and or proposals.
  4. Ability to self-mandate and work independently.
  5. Ability to problem-solve and deliver results in challenging conditions.
  6. Capacity to work under pressure and under tight deadlines.

Languages

  1. Written and oral fluency in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
