Iraq: M&E Specialist

IBTCI is seeking an Iraqi M&E Specialist to participate in an anticipated evaluation of U.S. State Department’s DRL programs that focus on strengthening Iraqi democratic institutions, including the Council of Representatives and other government agencies. Fieldwork will be conducted in Baghdad and Erbil, and the M&E Specialist will report to the Evaluation Team Leader.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the evaluation design including the development of instruments and methods. Play significant role in data collection and initial analysis
Lead any follow-up work required after the Team Leader has returned to the United States.
As needed, assist with arranging meetings and site visits and translation of communication not in English.
Qualifications:
Expertise in social science research methodology.
Knowledge of foreign assistance to support political processes agendas.
Fluency in Arabic and English.
Deep knowledge of the country and culture, political processes, the civil society community, and foreign assistance.
