The Regional Accountant , WV Somalia will have overall responsibility of the financial management of the field offices. Projects and Regional Coordinating offices, including management of the finance function at the regional office.

With a proven track record in a fast paced, complex and ideally global organisation, you will have a desire, motivated to help others and model ethics in line with the foundations and ethos of the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Reviewing Projects accounting records and documents and ensure they are accurate.

• Providing technical support and lead in the budget preparation process of the regional office and relevant grants/projects. Review and consolidate regional office projects budgets and cash flows.

• Review and consolidate regional office funding request.

• Preparing and participating in project Audits and financial reviews and all management responses to such audits and reviews.

• Carrying out strategic field project reviews to evaluate the internal controls and value for money in program activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

• Bachelor Degree in Accountin , CPA or equivalent.

• 3 years of experience in Financial Management.

• Excellent computer skills in Excel & Sun-systems software.

• Demonstrated ability in supervision.

• Experience in managing donor funds.
