Report to: Program Manager
Location: Regular travel to remote field locations – Concepcion Islands
Total benefit package: AUD 1200 per month plus accommodation (airfares negotiable)
Length of Contract: January 8th- March 8th, 2014
AAI has been working in the Municipality of Concepcion since Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). Initially, AAI provided medical teams for disaster relief and now continues support to the Ministry Health Office in the recovery phase.
The position requires
- Management and implementation of the health capacity building program in the Municipality of Conception.
- Coordinate trainings of Barangay Health Workers and Midwives, including training curriculum development
- Work closely with the Ministry Health Office to ensure effective implementation
- Manage timely reporting to relevant clusters, monthly and/or final reporting and regular updates on program activities to Program Manager
- Monitoring and evaluation of program
- Complete administrative, logistics and other support tasks to ensure effective humanitarian operations
