We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join or Finance team in our Manchester HQ.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help develop your finance skills and career whilst working for a dynamic international NGO.
The successful candidate will support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements by posting journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. You will also use your knowledge and skills to support our global operations by helping to maintain our purchase ledger systems, multi-currency bank accounts and assisting in preparing for grant and statutory audits. This is a varied role which will allow the postholder to work as part of a strong finance team in a friendly, yet challenging and fast paced environment.
We’re looking for someone with experience of reporting financial information, including data analysis and variance investigation and with a great eye for detail. They’ll also need the motivation to work to consistently high standards as part of a team. Candidates should also be AAT qualified or equivalent, and have a genuine interest in our life-saving work.
