Destination Justice is a non-profit apolitical law, policy and development firm. Our mission is to improve rule of law and human rights in a sustainable and holistic way. We seek to do this by strengthening access to justice, providing quality education and training, undertaking public interest litigation, increasing access to information, supporting social justice, and, designing and undertaking research. Destination Justice is proud to notice that it is looking for a Grant Writing Professional Volunteer to join its team.
Ideally, the specialist will be responsible for writing grants and filing applications for funding, developing partnerships, and cementing opportunities for Destination Justice to expand its work in the field and in cooperation with other stakeholders.
Prospective applicants must be proficient in:
- Grant writing;
- Drafting funding proposals;
- Developing core funding partnerships.
Prospective applicants must have:
- Degree in marketing, communications, international law, international relations or related;
- Experience in similar working environments in the fields of law and development, social justice, access to information, education and training, etc.
- Demonstrable abilities or proof of progressive experience in grant-writing and fundraising;
- Native-level proficiency in English;
- Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance;
- Ability to assume responsibility and receive constructive criticism.

Applicants may opt to either relocate to the Phnom Penh office (if not originally based in Cambodia) or remain home-based (remote), solely under the condition that they will be able to dedicated their time and effort as full-time consultants. However, in the case that an international applicant chooses to relocate to Cambodia, Destination Justice will provide all the information required to ease the transition. Destination Justice is willing to cover costs of a 3 month business visa, however, all other costs for relocation (flight, accommodation, daily expenses) shall be borne by the applicant.
