International Consultancy
for the provision of Technical Assistance to the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare in developing guide and conducting training for social workers on strengthening preventive work with juveniles at risk and implementation of the new Act on the treatment of juveniles in criminal proceedings (Justice for Children Project IPA 2011)
Minimum Requirements:
• Master degree preferably in Law, or alternatively in social sciences or other relevant field;• At least 10 years of experience and expertise in the area of social work, justice system legislative and policy reform;• Familiarity with the local context in Montenegro in particular with respect to the juvenile justice system reform and social sector system reform;• Knowledge of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and relevant international standards in the area of juvenile justice system;• Previous work experience with UNICEF will be considered as an advantage;• Excellent command of English language, whilst fluency in the local language is desirable (both spoken and written);• Strong advocacy and communication skills;• Excellent writing skills.• Ability to work in a team.
