Chemonics seeks a chief of party for the USAID-funded Management Support and Technical Analysis Services project. Based in Washington, D.C., the project supports the USAID Africa Bureau's Office of Sustainable Development in economic growth and trade-related activities in sub-Saharan Africa, including the bureau's role as the secretariat for the USAID Trade Hub Management Council. It also provides logistical and administrative support for planning, knowledge management, communications, and outreach; technical services in formulating a new, robust, cross-cutting, and inclusive strategy in technical areas including health, education, peace building, governance, economic growth, agriculture, and trade; and assistance in integrating gender and environmental considerations in programming. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the lead technical person, providing overall guidance and project management and as the point of contact and interaction with USAID for the overall project
- Manage the quality of products and overall performance
- Manage the analytical efforts, trend analyses, research relationships, and research grants and subcontracting
- Populate the data banks and/or websites, determining what to include and ensuring the quality and timeliness of the data and information
