The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill the position of VAM Officer P3 in our Country Office in Bamako, Mali.
Qualifications & Experience RequiredEducation:- Advanced university degree in Sociology, Agricultural/Economics, Agriculture, Geography, Nutrition, City and Regional Planning, Rural Development or similar discipline.Experience:- At least 5 years of professional experience in food security and vulnerability analysis or a closely related field.Desirable:- Experience in early warning and remote sensing and familiarity with the speciality software applications associated with them;-Experience in the design and implementation of food aid programmes.- Experience in remote sensing interpretation and analysis, Normalised Vegetation Differential Index (NDVI), Cold Cloud Duration (CCD).
Language:- Proficiency (level C) in both French and English
