The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Programme Officer (Cash & Voucher) at P3 level, in our Country Office in Bamako, Mali.
Under the general supervision of the WFP Country Director and under the functional supervision of the Head of Programme, the Programme Officer (Cash & Voucher) will be responsible of following duties:
• Developing and sustaining liaison with other actors engaged in planning and implementing Cash/Food for Work (FFW) activities in Mali (including government authorities, representatives of NGOs, and UN agencies);• Identifying potential C/FFW projects and partners, and providing assistance in developing partnerships and in planning, formulating, and targeting C/FFW activities; • Reviewing C/FFW projects submitted by sub-offices for quality and consistency, and review draft Field Level Agreements and C/FFW distribution plans prepared by SOs;• Contributing to the preparation and implementation of monitoring and reporting systems for C/FFW activities, and providing technical support and training to Food Aid Monitors involved in monitoring of these activities; • Monitoring the status of operational, planned and ongoing projects, and identifying actions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of C/FFW programming; • Participating in meetings of the Cash Transfer working group and other relevant meetings;• Performing other related duties as required.
