We are a niche consulting firm with a small in-house technical team and wider network of experienced consultants and researchers. We are committed to improving the quality and impact of development assistance and to the eradication of poverty, global inequality and injustice. We work towards this end by providing advice to governments, donors, NGOs, and the private sector.

An opportunity has arisen for a Gender Consultant to join our team. SDDirect is currently working with the UK Department for International Development and partners on a number of innovative and important programmes designed to increase girl’s access to education globally. Join us and you will provide high-quality consultancy and research advice to multinational, government and NGO clients working on improving access to education and services for girls and women and other marginalised communities in the international development field.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player and have excellent client and partner relationship skills. With a post graduate degree in a relevant subject, you will have at least 6 years experience of gender and/or girls education in developing countries, with multi-laterals, bilaterals or non-governmental agencies.
