Summary Description
Under the direction of the COO, the Major Account Executive (MAE) is responsible for all sales functions, within assigned territory, in aligning iJET solutions with client needs. The MAE will carry a quota and be measured on customer adoption of iJET solutions. This position also serves as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts, responsible for the full lifecycle of the account relationship with iJET and is responsible to develop, deliver against and adjust an account plan for each assigned account, monitor for reliable and timely delivery of services as well as client satisfaction and understanding of iJET capabilities/value. The position tracks and reports against account plan objectives, facilitating account reviews and other meetings to analyze value of current services; assess future needs; and pursue revenue-generating opportunities. The position maintains current knowledge of company strategies, services and product roadmap. The position will also manage the office facilities in the Singapore office.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Sales:
• Develop territory plan
• Prospect to clients and potential clients
• Articulate our value proposition
• Navigate complex, multi LOB campaigns
• Drive adoption and multi-year agreements
• Achieve sales quota and company objectives
• Quarterback all activities in an account with extended iJET team members

Account Management:
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts through the full account lifecycle (implementation, maintenance and growth).
• Develop, measure and report on account plant for each assigned account, with solutions-oriented focus on service delivery and account growth.
• Routinely monitor and assess quality of service delivery and overall client satisfaction; coordinate internal resources to address client needs.
• Pursue revenue-generating opportunities in alignment with client needs.
• Lead clients through regular review of services, progress against stated goals and identification of next steps in account development/growth.
• Demonstrate current product and service sets; highlight value and differentiation from competitors.
• Provide client perspective to help shape client communications, product enhancements, etc.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing of technology enhancements.
• Responsible for aggregate 90% or greater revenue retention across client base; pursue upsells.
• Maintain current knowledge of company strategies and technological/product development.

Office Management:

• Maintain Office Space:
o First point of contact for service contracts – maintenance, cleaning, repair, etc.
o Assignment of office space to new employees
o Contact the COO for any purchasing requests
o Maintain relationship with Partner liaison (AXA Assistance)

Education/Experience:
• BS/BA required; Master’s degree desirable.
• 10 years Major Account/Global 2000 solution sales experience is required.
• Insurance, Assistance, or Security experience preferred.
• Project management, sales or account management experience; solution selling a plus.

Requirements
• Initiative to understand client’s business and fit with iJET’s products and services.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written), required. Fluency in Malay, Mandarin or Tamil, desired.
• Skilled Communicator.
• Disciplined – focus on execution.
• Excellent problem solving abilities, effective time management, project management.
• Solutions-oriented approach to account management.
• Ability to cultivate multiple relationships within customer organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent facilitation and product presentation skills; familiarity with WebEx is a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Salesforce.com required.
• Domestic and International Travel required (approximately 50%).

Organizational Background:

Grounds for Health is an international non-profit based in Waterbury, VT. Since 1996, Grounds for Health has collaborated with partners to create sustainable cervical cancer prevention programs in coffee growing communities in Latin America and Africa. Cervical cancer, though preventable, is the #1 cause of cancer death throughout most of the developing world, claiming more lives than childbirth. Women who die from cervical cancer do so at the height of their productivity.Current Grounds for Health programs exist in Nicaragua, Peru and Tanzania. 90% of funding comes from companies working in the coffee sector including importers, roasters and/or retailers. DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for securing major philanthropic investments in support of the mission and objectives of Grounds for Health. The Major Gifts Officer position requires a seasoned, focused, and dedicated senior development professional with a track record of cultivation and stewardship of individual and corporate/multinational donors with five and six -figure gift capacity. The MGO will have an operational understanding of the strategic role that philanthropy plays in helping an organization/individual/company meet their overall corporate sustainability goals and sustainability reporting requirements.

The Major Gifts Officer will work collaboratively across all parts of the organization and develop relationships with board members and staff, as appropriate, to stimulate or increase major gift fundraising. The position, initially envisioned as a 2.5-3 day per week position, will be directed from office in Waterbury, VT. Some telecommuting may be acceptable. Salary commensurate with experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Development Director to establish and implement a strategy to identify, educate, cultivate and solicit major individual and corporate donors to contribute significantly to major gifts revenue and program growth.

• Set goals and create and follow individualized communication plans reflecting the modern corporate sustainability initiatives of major organizations

• Collaborate with the Development Director, the Executive Director, the Board and program staff at Grounds for Health as appropriate and necessary

• Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle:

o Initiate contacts with potential leadership and major gift donors
o Develop appropriate cultivation strategies for them, including working with volunteers
o Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure
o Make solicitations when appropriate
o Maintain stewardship contacts with donors; adhere to the highest ethical standards; demonstrate empathetic disposition, and perseverance; reflect optimistic and positive attitude, and convey sensitivity to needs of the donors

• Apply visionary and strategic thinking to create more purposeful interaction between donors and Grounds for Health staff and programs in order to grow more fruitful donor relationships.

• Work with the Development Director and Executive Director ensuring collaboration between direct mail, foundation, corporate, and planned giving efforts.

• Record donor interactions, relationships and other relevant information in the donor database in accordance with database policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A true interest in Grounds for Health’s mission.
• Must have a strong background and successful track record in major gift development
• Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred: and a minimum of five years experience in major multinational or related fundraising
• Must have operational knowledge of corporate sustainability strategies, preferably with an understanding of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) for corporate sustainability reporting
• Track record of effective donor stewardship and ability to close gifts from both individuals as well as companies in the five and six figure range
• Effective interpersonal skills, excellent boardroom presentation style, and solid strategic writing skills,
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining genuine relationships with diverse individuals; at ease discussing a range of personal issues that are important to donors; skilled at identifying or helping donors to articulate their philanthropic goals.
• Self-motivated individual who relishes problem solving and exudes energy and initiative.
• Creative thinker who is adept at connecting people with their passions and motivating them to act on their philanthropic interest in Grounds for Health.
• High degree of comfort interacting with people of wealth and discussing complex, sensitive issues of personal and family finances
• Ability to “make the ask.”
• Willingness to travel (i.e. donor visits, trade shows) as necessary combined with the ability and commitment to nurture donor relationships effectively from a distance.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in the use of PowerPoint for effective, strategic presentations to high level decision makers a must.
• A proficiency in Word and Excel; experience with donor tracking and/or database software is required..

Major Gifts Officer (Southern CA Region)

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Southern CA Region, the Major Gifts Officer helps to fulfill the mission and goals of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. The team develops and executes strategies to cultivate, solicit and steward $10,000+ gifts from a portfolio of high net worth donors and prospects. The Major Gifts Officer will have this charge in the Southern California region and will be responsible for meeting both face-to face meeting goals and an ambitious solicitation goal.

Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):

•Manage a portfolio of high net worth donors and prospects in the market to generate significant support for USF.

•Develop and execute strategies for each portfolio donor with the goal of securing a new gift, gift renewal or upgrade.

•Secure one-on-one in-person donor meetings and solicitations to establish or strengthen donor relationships for long term support.

•Solicit and secure gifts at the major gift level, including multi-year gifts. This will include identification, cultivation, and stewardship of high net worth individuals.

•Shape and edit donor correspondence such as letters, emails, funding proposals, and reports.

•Maintain accurate records of donor outreach and solicitation plans through regular upkeep of donor database.

•Work collaboratively with the internal business units of the USF designed to assist the major gift program (e.g. special events, program services, communications, etc.)

•Become knowledgeable on UNICEF’s vast programmatic needs for the purpose of effective donor stewardship, using available resources and opportunities.

•Special projects and other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree preferred.

•Self-motivated professional with a proven success record in major gift fundraising.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.

•Must possess a strong work ethic, take initiative and be an enthusiastic team player who embraces the mission of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

•Must be technologically proficient in Word and Excel, and have experience using a fundraising database.

•Working knowledge of Southern CA philanthropic community is preferred.

•Flexible to travel in the interest of donor cultivation and stewardship, as needed.
