We're seeking a motivated employee with an eclectic skill set, passion for technology, love of creative problem solving and great communication skills. The Business Intelligence Developer will use the very latest Microsoft technologies to deliver best of breed BI solutions for PSI’s global workforce. The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for understanding reporting/analysis requirements and underlying source systems. The work will require significant ETL development, data modeling, and presentation layer skills. As a member of a small team, also required is the ability to rapidly adapt to changing business requirements and efficiently acquire and utilize new skills in response to such change. The position requires excellent communication skills, demonstrated creativity and good judgment in order to produce timely, efficient and high quality deliverables. The Business Intelligence Developer reports to the Manager of Applications Delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include but are not limited to: • Development and maintenance of Crystal Reports and JasperReports• Deploy reports to Lawson LBI and DHIS2• Manage access rights for reports• Respond to ad-hoc query requests• Develop SQL Queries, Views and Stored Procedures• Manage data crosswalks between multiple source systems feeding the data warehouse• Develop SSRS reports, SSIS integration packages, and SSAS analysis cubes using Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio.
• Create SharePoint dashboards with Dashboard Designer and PerformancePoint Services• Provide support to staff using BI tools• Analyze user requests for completeness and feasibility• Develop accurate time estimates for assignments;• Identify, communicate and manage risks associated with projects;• Develop and implement test plans to determine if functional requirements have been met;• Understand and utilize established programming, testing and release standards. Participate in the refinement and maintenance of current standards and the establishment of new standards;• Participate in the evaluation of new techniques, technologies and toolsQUALIFICATIONS:
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications and work experience;• 3 years development experience with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack;• 3 years data integration, data modeling, and relational database design• Solid SQL Skills• Solid SSRS• Data warehouse analysis and design experience• Proficiency in developing solutions with the full Microsoft BI suite (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, BIDS)• Experience with Crystal Reports XI/2008 • Experience with JasperReports• Working knowledge and understanding of technologies including but not limited to Windows Server OS, Active Directory, networking, role based security, **Preference given to candidates who have MCSE: Business Intelligence or MCSE: Data Platform and experience with MDX, DAX, Perl, SSAS Multi-Dimensional and Tabular data sources, and Financial Systems Reporting
