PHILANTHROPY ADVISORS (PA) is a company providing advice to private major donors active in the field of development and humanitarian intervention. PA accompanies its clients from the research phase & definition of strategy, through the effective set up of actions, follow up, evaluation and capitalization.
PHILANTHROPY ADVISORS has been mandated by one of the leading grant making Foundation in its sector (hereafter referred to as THE FOUNDATION) who’s mission is to support the development, validation, promotion and dissemination of innovative approaches and ideas to improve the education, protection and health of disadvantaged children around the world, regardless of their political, religious or ethnic backgrounds.
The mandate is to conduct a publishable large scale study (White Paper), in close cooperation with key stakeholder in the sector, intended to bring a better understanding of i) risks/needs faced by children during the early phase of humanitarian emergencies and ii) the landscape of actors/programs operational in the sector.Throughout the course of the study, a specific subsection is dedicated to the problematic of CHILD PROTECTION in the early phase of emergencies.
To conduct this study, PHILANTHROPY ADVISORS is requiring a senior consultant, expert on child protection in humanitarian emergencies/responses to work specifically on this matter.
Duration of the assignment: 25 working days (spread on a duration of 2 months)
