Supporting the International Communications Team you will help plan and coordinate activity across ActionAid’s digital, content and media channels as well as ensure brand integration and development. You will also help progress effective ways of working and internal communications both within the International Communications Team and across the International Secretariat and with relevant national staff across the countries in which ActionAid works. We will look to you to create and maintain internal systems and procedures as well as help communicate learning and best practice, as well as demonstrate the value of communications work

Good dealing with people across different countries and cultures, you work well as part of a team, have an eye for detail and are comfortable juggling multiple priorities,

With a background in communications, ideally supported by a relevant qualification, you will have developed expertise in one or more of the areas of brand, digital, content or media. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and are able to engage audiences through well-crafted words. You excel at meeting deadlines, thrive under pressure, are comfortable prioritising activities and enjoy building productive networks. As this role entails managing the International Communications Teams’s involvement in the 2014 planning process, you will have experience of planning processes, also be able to control budgets effectively.
