Uganda: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Organization: Australian Red Cross
Country: Uganda
Closing date: 29 Aug 2013

Love a good logframe? Excited by evaluations? Do indicators inspire you? Then help Africa’s largest health and development organisation to measure and demonstrate the impact of its work with health providers and the community.

This is a volunteer assignment under the Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) program, an Australian Government, AusAID initiative. Airfares, living allowances, accommodation, insurance and other support is provided through the program.

AMREF aims to close the gap that prevents people accessing their basic right to health. It does so by fostering vibrant networks of informed communities, empowered health care providers and strong health systems.

In Uganda, AMREF is seeking an Australian Volunteer to guide and advise on the monitoring and evaluation of its many programs and projects.

Working closely with program staff, the volunteer will assist with performance frameworks and indicators, document good practice and help prepare donor reports that demonstrate measurable change. The volunteer will also work on a comprehensive information management system that tracks program-wide targets through data gathered from health facilities and the community.

How to apply:

To be eligible, applicants must be 18 years and over, Australian citizens or permanent residents, or New Zealand citizens with Special Category Visas.

Applications close 29 August 2013.
