Libya: Tripoli-based Operations Coordinator

Reboot seeks a Tripoli-based Operations Coordinator to coordinate all logistical needs for our team throughout the project duration. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day logistical needs related to transportation and local procurement, as well as support the implementation of risk management strategies.
This contract will last approximately 4.5 months, from early September 2013 through mid-January 2014.
Responsibilities
*Assist team in identifying and procuring key project resources (e.g. technical support, routine transportation, communications resources, and others as necessary).
*Identify, hire and manage providers of transportation, communications support, local financial transactions, etc. as necessary.
*Support the identification, hire and coordination of additional security and operations personnel as necessary.
*Remain in close contact with project security advisors and other local sources to apprise evolving security risks, and adapt logistical planning as necessary.
Qualifications
*Must be a Libyan national, fluent in Arabic and proficient in English.
*Must be available for full-time work from early September 2013 through mid-January 2014.
*Must be currently based in Tripoli.
*Demonstrated organizational and management abilities.
*Should have experience managing logistics and local procurement for international organizations based in Tripoli; equivalent operations management experience will be considered.
*Excellent information-gathering skills and analytical abilities, with a focus on recognizing potential threats.
*Demonstrated sound judgement and decision-making in emergency situations.
*Willingness to travel to research locations throughout the country if necessary.
