ABOUT RI: Relief International (RI) is a leading global change organization and home to teams of humanitarian activist-professionals committed to transforming adversity into renewal for the world’s most vulnerable populations. PROGRAM SUMMARY: Relief International (RI), an international relief and development agency with cross-sectoral programs bridging relief and development, is currently recruiting Program Manager candidates for a two-year program in Iraq aimed at advancing war widows’ access to livelihoods and social assistance programs through the transformation of local non-governmental organizations (LNGOs) into social enterprises via capacity building and investment. The two-tracked program will thus focus on strengthening the institutional systems of LNGOs currently providing livelihoods and/or social assistance programming to war widows, as well as empowering ‘change agents’ within these LNGOs to implement their ideas for bringing these services to scale sustainably.
