Constru Casa www.construcasa.org is an established organization in Guatemala with an amazing potential for growth. We need a dedicated, strategic, and resourceful professional to help us manage and expand our marketing initiatives.
This intern will work in three main areas: general communications, marketing, and promotions. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and other team members and will be in regular contact with our fundraising partners in Holland and the USA to manage a robust and cohesive marketing strategy.This is a great opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute strategically - and with considerable responsibility to the development and growth of a highly professional organization, while gaining first hand and on the ground experience in a developing country.
Location: The Constru Casa offices are located in San Pedro las Huertas, la Antigua Guatemala; the position occasionally requires some flexibility outside normal working hours to meet donors and take part in events in Antigua or possibly Guatemala City.
Role and Responsibility for the Marketing and Communications Intern:
Contribute to the creation of a year-long, creative marketing and communications strategy and spearhead its implementation.
Constru Casa offers a small stipend that covers a part of the living costs (basic housing) in Antigua. We will take into consideration the relevant experience and the length of contract.
