UNDP Vietnam seeks 01 qualified International Gender Specialist for gender assessment of the draft law on Civil Status and technical assistance to improve the MOJ’s gender mainstreaming tool in law drafting.

The objectives of the assignment are to:

• To analyze gender dimensions of the draft law and to ensure that gender equality principles are mainstreamed and guaranteed in the draft law to safeguard human rights and women’s rights in particular in line with CEDAW and relevant international conventions on human rights that Viet Nam has entered. • To test and improve the MOJ’s Gender mainstreaming tool for law making, taking the lessons learnt from the process of gender assessment of the draft law on Civil Status.
