Fiji: Manager, IPPF ESEAOR Sub-Regional Office for the Pacific (SROP)

International Planned Parenthood Federation, East & South East Asia and Oceania Region (IPPF ESEAOR) is seeking a dynamic Manager for the Sub-Regional Office for the Pacific (SROP) in Suva. Fiji. The key responsibilities of the Manager are:
1. To ensure smooth organisational management of the Sub Regional Office for the Pacific with clear guidance from the Regional Director and in adherence with set IPPF Policies and Procedures.
2. To ensure smooth and effective management of Programmes undertaken by IPPF Member Associations in the Pacific, including provision of strategic directions, guidance and support to them.
3. To ensure that IPPF is represented consistently and cohesively in the Pacific region, and to undertake advocacy, networking and resource mobilisation activities, as necessary both at country level for the Pacific MAs and at the Sub Regional level for the Pacific.
Essential Selection Criteria:
• Postgraduate degree in health, social policy or management
• Qualifications in adult learning or training would be beneficial
• Experience working in NGOs is essential
• Experience working in the Pacific Region
• High quality management skills, including good time management, skills in monitoring, and financial and human resource management skills
• A solid understanding of how NGOs work and the various areas of organizational development
• Capacity development skills, such as mentoring, coaching and facilitation
• Fluency in English is essential
• Diplomacy skills
• Good human relations skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, including report and proposal writing
• Computer literacy, including working with databases
