As part of the analytics and business modelling team, the Business Analyst carries out advisory, research, analysis and consulting services to support and inform strategic decision making and business processes in World Vision. This includes in varying proportions strategic projects, and services to inform and support regular business decision-making processes. The incumbent will have experience developing tools and analysis to monitor and guide optimal resource distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Internal advisory/consulting.
• Portfolio Management and Resource Allocation process support.
• Analytics and modelling to support business processes.
• Analytics and business modelling to support strategic projects as part of the internal consulting function.
• Assist in process planning and tracking, working collaboratively with Global Office of Strategy Management (GOSM) team members, and in other team activities including regular team meetings and devotions.
REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
• Bachelor's degree in a numerical discipline, preferably with a strong emphasis on quantitative analytics such as: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates effective computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, intranet and Internet, and various software applications and databases used in analytical work.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
Preferred:
• Advanced Excel skills. MS Access, MS Sharepoint, MS Project, and Visual Basic.
• Advances understanding of relational database structures.
• Understanding of project planning and workflow management.
• Experience with several methods of both qualitative and quantitative research.
