Action Contre la Faim (ACF) is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40 countries in the fields of nutrition, food security & livelihoods, water sanitation & hygiene, & care practices. ACF is looking for its program in Jordan for one (1) Supply Manager – Program Logistician (M/W).

Work place: Irbid

Type of contract: fixed-term contract of 4 months (with possible extension)

Assignments:
Secure provisions for the base and programs

Specific activities:
- Supervise the order processing (Check procurement requests with requesters to ensure proper filling, treat procurement requests according to ACF procedures, prepare procurement forms: supply purchase orders, quotation requests, assessment tables, and contract and have them checked and validated by the managers, follow deliveries to the programs, ensure filing of documents concerning supplies.
- Supervise the purchasing unit (Update the mission’s price catalogue, supervise assessment of logistics capacities in each area of intervention, follow-up on specific needs of programs, ensure quick availability of items requested by programs, guarantee the best quality-price ratio of purchases and the respect of internal Kitlog v3 procurement procedures.
- Supervise the base’s and field’s stock management (ensure good storage conditions, supervise the monthly inventories, ensure respect of procedures
- Supervise the team (Draw up a work plan, delegate activities, carry out appraisal interviews, provide technical support to the team if necessary
- Ensure follow up and maintenance of equipment (Ensure proper maintenance and good functioning of equipment for the base and programs: labeling, proper numbering follow up, stickers of ACF equipment, follow up computers used by base and programs (check back ups, train for a good use of computer, check antivirus system…)

Recruitment criteria:
High School leaving certificate or School leaving certificate with professional experience in procurement and/or stock management.

Required skills:
- Computer knowledge (Word and Excel)
- Negotiating skills
- Good organizing capacity
- Knowledge of English Professionalism
