Position: Deputy Chief of Party (COP)

Summary:
AECOM International Development seeks a Deputy Chief of Party (COP) for an anticipated USAID-funded multi-year project intended to increase access to water and sanitation in rural communities in Western and Central equatorial states. The project will work with government agencies to improve and expand access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services, including facilitating private sector investment, establishing community managed systems, promoting hygiene behavior change and empowering women to take on leadership roles. The DCOP will support the COP in project management and administration, including overseeing project administration, grant-making, local capacity development, reporting and gender mainstreaming. The Deputy COP must demonstrate exceptional operational experience, including managing large complex USAID projects.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience supporting implementation and administration of USAID field projects
- Demonstrated experience in small grants administration and results reporting for USAID projects
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
