Recruitment & Career Manager to the HR Field Unit
The Human Resources Department in Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Denmark is responsible for International field workers on Danish contracts (expatriates), Office staff and Volunteers associated with the office.
The HR Field unit, which is responsible for expatriates, is looking for a new team member in the position of Recruitment & Career Manager (RCM). The selected candidate will work together with two other RCMs, and will report directly to the Head of HR Field. As Recruitment & Career Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the best match is attained between open positions in MSF’s projects in the field and the proposed candidates.
Core responsibilities and tasks
• Develop and implement a recruitment strategy to attract specific profiles of high quality applicants in accordance to field needs and profile responsibility• Take an active part in the selection of suitable candidates via our Assessment Centre • Establish close sustainable relationships with the pool managers in our five Operational Centres in Europe, who are our main partners in the matching process• Collaborate with the Nordic Training and Development Manager, ensuring an attractive learning environment and development possibilities for our field workers• Ensure an accurate administrative execution following recruitment/deployment • Maintain regular contact with field workers before, during and after missions, and follow up with adequate support and career advice• Supervise Volunteers within the HR Field Unit • Participate in international meetings and be available for short term field assignments
Qualifications
• NGO field experience, preferably from MSF projects • Medical/paramedical background combined with HR experience is preferred• Ability to handle cross culture relationships• Service minded, with excellent communication and collaboration skills• Flexible, shows initiative, able to work independently as well as in teams• Speak and write fluent English. Danish and French is an asset but not a requirement
Monthly salary will range between DKK 29.498 and 31.906 per month + 10 % company paid pension. MSF Denmark contributes to the costs which are commonly considered as part of the employer’s responsibility in terms of relocation.
