Job profileWorking as part of the team that have responded to the Syria Crisis, Pakistan Floods and the Haiti earthquake the Emergency Response Officer (ERO) will contribute to the delivery of high quality humanitarian assistance, emergency preparedness, and disaster risk reduction by working closely with partners on implementation and delivery of humanitarian programmes.

Job roleWorking with partners is central to CAFOD’s humanitarian response and the ERO will play an important role both working with partners to respond to crisis and in building longer-term capacity.

Your profileCandidates should have demonstrated experience in more than one humanitarian context and experience of working with humanitarian standards. A commitment to working with local partners and to building long term capacity is essential. Applicants should work well with international bodies and consortiums and have a sympathetic understanding of CAFOD’s vision, mission and values.
