Full-time (37.5 hours), permanent contract

Location: London-based with occasional travel

Salary: £46,434 plus 9% employer pension contribution

Do you have substantial and senior fundraising experience and a track record of successfully raising funds? Do you have knowledge of the donors that support our sector? Are you a great communicator? Could you lead on developing and implementing our fundraising strategy in the years ahead? Are you interested in supporting others to work for peace and conflict resolution?

The Head of Strategic Partnerships and Development is a senior role in Conciliation Resources helping us to grow the scale and impact of our work. The successful candidate will ensure that challenging fundraising targets are met, and that we have strong working relations and good communications with our donors. S/he will lead a small and high-performing fundraising team. The Head of Strategic Partnerships and Development will offer leadership in developing our fundraising strategies and overall coordination and management of their implementation, including plans for raising both restricted and unrestricted income.

Candidates should have significant senior fundraising experience and a strong track record in managing successful donor relationships - including with the EU, UK and other governments. S/he should have a good knowledge of best practice in fundraising and project plannning, (including logframes) proposal writing and reporting. S/he should also have tenacity in seeking results and good communication and negotiation skills.
