CAFOD Southern Africa Regional Office is currently looking for a Programme Finance Officer.
Job profile
The post holder will work closely with the Regional Finance and Administration Manager and the Programme Manager on accounting and financial issues including tracking budgets, donor reporting, financial compliance and partner financial support.
Job role
- To keep an accurate overview of programme and office finances; responsible for providing efficient and effective financial guidance and support to programme staff.
- To be responsible for book-keeping and preparation of programme accounts (but not sign-off)
- Providing support and capacity building to partners on financial standards and systems including assessing partner financial needs.
- Responsible for financial aspects of donor compliance and financial reporting
Your profile
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with experience of EU compliance and reporting. The person must be capable of producing meaningful and accurate financial reports and should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of building the capacity of partners is an advantage.
