Contract Length: 6 months
The role
The Roving Logistics Coordinator is to act as the link between the CO Logistics Team and the Field Logistics teams, and will focus on stock and distribution process. Also the role is to capacity build, develop, oversee and assist the field logistics Officers. He will also support the Logistics Manager in looking at pre-positioning and contingency planning.
Qualifications and experience
Essential
* At least 4 years of experience in logistics;
* At least 2 years of experience in logistics with an International NGO
* Experience in supply chain management including procurement, transport and distribution, warehouse and stock management.
* Strong capacity building skills;
* Patience, thoroughness, rigour.
* Excellent IT s kills.
* Fluency in written and spoken English.
* Proactive and result-oriented.
* Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children aims, values and principles.
Desirable
* Fluency in written and spoken Arabic
Previous experience with Save the Children
