Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drive office vehicle for the transport of authorized personnel and visitors as per UN safety and security rules and regulations;
• Collection and deposit of cash and cheques from/to the Bank, submission of payment cheques for the office telephone & electrical bills;
• Collect and deliver goods, mail, documents, and other items;
• Maintain updated records of Log trips, daily mileage, oil changes and submit monthly reports on mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance and regular servicing;
• Take care of the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned means of transport, check oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean, request/order spare parts when required;
• Read and understand the vehicle operating manual to ensure the safe and appropriate operation of the vehicle;
• Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident;
• Assist with Protocol matters in related to obtaining (Special Entry Visas, Visit Visas, Residency Visas);
• Assist with registration of new vehicles, renewal of insurance; car registration; opening of official bank accounts; medical checks etc;
• Assist with the preparation of logistics’ clearance documents and submission to related parties;
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

? Education: Primary School Certificate.
? Driving License: Valid UAE driving license.
? Experience: Minimum of 3 years driving experience in the UAE with an excellent knowledge of driving rules and regulations and a safe driving record;
? Experience in driving various makes and models of cars, including vans and other kinds of motorized vehicles;
? Experience in obtaining visa’s is highly desirable.
? Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
? Knowledge: Typing in Arabic and English. General working knowledge in MS Office.
? Other Skills: Ability to organize work to ensure tasks are completed as required;
? Prior experience in a multicultural work environment is desirable.
