The Program Coordinator, Food Security and Livelihoods, working closely with his/her Hunger and Livelihoods team, Country Offices and Finance staff, supports the management of a portfolio of active food security projects funded by USAID’s Office of Food for Peace. Part of this position’s responsibility is to assist in the ongoing development of systems and procedures to ensure the effective flow of resources to Save the Children International (SCI) and other Save the Children members where the Food for Peace-funded portfolio is being implemented. This work must ensure donor expectations are met, programs are successfully implemented, and all reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Provide project monitoring and support including: Monitor procurements to ensure compliance and appropriate completion; serve as main point of contact on those resources for Country Offices and SC/US stakeholders (i.e., TA providers, other business teams, finance, grants and contracts, HR, etc.); represent Food Security portfolio, as needed, at meetings involving USAID-funded cooperating agencies, multi-lateral organizations, donors, and other PVOs; complete all data entry and follow all processes to ensure funds can be tracked on SC/US and SCI systems (including CGRS, AMS, Funds Summary Template and AADs); as needed, be the key point of contact for donor on resources provided to SCI and ensure timely and effective communications to donors on matters related to their resources; assist in negotiating, preparing, and processing amendments and budget modifications as necessary.

Support Country Offices in starting up new SC/US funded projects

Support the review and submission of PREP and annual reports for Title II programs on an annual basis as necessary, in coordination with the Senior Director, Food Security and Livelihoods

Coordinate the preparation and submission of required donor reports, working with Country Offices and Finance to produce the reports and coordinating with technical staff to ensure the content reviews are undertaken as appropriate.

Coordinate with Finance, Country Offices and relevant technical teams as applicable to ensure all project closeouts are managed effectively and that all issues are resolved.

Provide Resource Mobilization and Proposal Development Support including:drafting or contributing to proposal budgets; serving as cost coordinator on select proposals and tracking private fundraising opportunities.

Requirements

1-3 years providing support to home and field office project operations.Strong working ability in French; fluency preferred.Experience in project management support, compliance, and donor requirements.Experience in budget management and financial analysis.Experience working in INGO environment with USAID projects; especially funded by Food for Peace preferred.Experience coordinating processes with large stakeholder groups.BA required.
