United States of America (the): Program Coordinator for Sub-Saharan Africa
Serve as liaison between Regional Director for Sub-Saharan African programs and Project staff as well as with Operations/Administrative Services staff. Coordinate program logistics from inception to closeout. Provide logistical support to all Sub-Saharan African project activities, including coordination with Operations staff on financial and contract management, oversight of accounts payable, processing invoices, identifying technical experts and other required technical resources and mobilizing these to the field.
Under the direction of the Regional Director, support the Program Development team in proposal development for Sub-Saharan African projects, and support expansion of the Institute's Sub-Saharan Africa program platform through research collaboration, student programs, and extension outreach programs.
Occasional Duties Other job related duties as required.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field, or equivalent combination of training and experience (eight years of experience with a High School Diploma, four years of experience with an Associate's Degree).
Preferred Education: Master's degree or higher in relevant field.
Required Experience: Three years of experience in administration, program management or a related field.

Required special knowledge, abilities, and skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
